Melody Track is where users can create their own melody simply by drawing with mouse. It offers core feature
called 'Smart Melody' which keeps the input melody in harmony with other tracks, no matter how arbitrary is the given melody.
1. How to use Melody Track (enhanced with 'Smart Melody')
  • 1 Click to add Melody Track.
  • 2 Select an instrument.
  • 3 On the canvas, draw as you wish your melody to be.
  • 4 Click to open Smart Melody dialog.
  • 5 Choose an option. You may generate melody by manipulating Smart Melody, or bypassing Smart Melody.
  • 6 Click OK to start processing.
  • 7 It displays the processed melody. This is what you hear when playing.
Additional controls:
  • 1 Click to change instrument.
  • 2 Select drawing mode.
  • 3 Undo(or, Shift-Z) or redo(or, Shift-Y) what has been drawn on the canvas.
  • 4 Clear the canvas.
2. Zoom Panel
  • 1 Shift-click on the section of the canvas you wish to view zoomed-in.
  • 2 Zoom-in panel will be popped up. Draw on the canvas area.
  • 3 You can change drawing mode.
  • 4 Also, undo/redo supported.
  • 5 Click to hide Zoom-in panel. Or, you can also Shift-click on the drawing area.
  • 6 Now you have updated lines on the cavas.
  • 1 Right-click(Mac: Cmd-click) and drag to select the region to copy or cut.
  • 2 Press Shift-C to copy or Shift-X to cut.
  • 3 Right-click(Mac: Cmd-click) on the destinating region.
  • 4 Press Shift-V to paste.
  • 1 It displays currently applied melody.
  • 2 Press Shift-DEL to clear the current melody.
